Thank you for the beautiful wind chimes. The sound in the breeze is a wonderful remembrance of my mother. It was nice to see many of you at the visitation and to see all the names signed in the card. Thank you so much for taking great care of her. She always seemed so happy at Oakbrook!

This is just a short note to thank you all for your patient, excellent care and advice that you gave our mother. My brother and I interacted with several of you and had many friendly “hall chats”. We realize that our mother isn’t the easiest person to deal with, yet she received such kind care – as did we! Thank you for all that you do every day!

Thank you all for the care you have shown our mom while she was with you. She might have not always appreciated it, but we did. Thank you for the beautiful wind chimes. We will think of her every time we hear them.

"There are not enough words to describe the wonderful care I received. The entire staff was tremendous in taking care of me during my recovery. Being at Oakbrook was just like being at home. Everyone at Oakbrook is a blessing and they have a wonderful crew. If you need help recovering, check with Oakbrook, they are #1."

Thank you for the special care that was given to my mom. Your job is truly a work of love! To handle your work so gracefully during the difficult times is truly a blessing. Thank you for your gift of the wind chimes, but more than ever thank you for your gift of “caring”.

I was very satisfied with Oakbrook while I was there. They had good food and the meals were served by caring people. The cleaning people were there every day and it doesn’t smell like what you think a nursing home would. The smiles from everyone really mean a lot when you’re sick and the staff never looked like they didn’t like their job. All in all, a top notch home! I’ve been spreading the work to others!

Thank you for all the great care you gave and thank you for making the resident’s life at Oakbrook a very happy one. Everything you’ve done is greatly appreciated, he spoke well of all of you.

What a perfect gift! The sound of the wind chimes will remind me of Mom’s singing! I wanted to be sure you and your staff know how much we appreciate the kind and gentle care Mom received while she was an Oakbrook resident. She often told us how kind everyone there was to her. When she came to Oakbrook, she seemed to come back to life after the previous three months when she was in such deep mourning for Dad that we hardly knew her. However, she really perked up while in your care, and our family was able to truly enjoy her last two months. We all have such fond memories of our visits with her there. It was so nice to see how your activity employees got her involved in Bingo, singing, etc. Thanks to you and your staff for all you did to improve Mom’s quality of life those last two months.

"A family member recommended Oakbrook to me and my stay there was wonderful. The nurses and staff were great, as was the food. The therapy department was very helpful. I rehabilitated and returned home in less than two weeks. I would recommend this facility to anyone."

Thank you, THANK YOU for all you did to help my mother. Your wonderful care enabled us to enjoy my mom during these last weeks and she improved so much at your facility. Thank you also for the beautiful wind chimes! I was lucky enough to get it and the music it provides at my woodland home reminds me of my mother daily.

To the staff at Oakbrook: Thank you so much for the beautiful wind chime (it’s like sitting on your patio) and all the wonderful thoughts and prayers. You showed dad such love and compassion while in your care. We will never forget you.
